Tim Phillips
B.Sc., C. Ped (C), Clinical Supervisor

Tim is a Certified Pedorthist and brings over 15 years of experience to the Orthotics field. He graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2001. His passion for Orthotics and Bracing began with a practicum placement and has evolved into a very rewarding career in which he has received invaluable training along the way. He enjoys solving challenges with ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking as there is rarely a textbook solution.

Outside of work he enjoys being active, which usually means chasing after his young family. He recently survived his first Triathlon and is excited about training and completing more.

Leanne Carson
B.Sc. (H.Kin), C. Ped (C), Clinic Administration

Leanne has always been passionate about health and fitness; she believes that staying mobile and active is an integral part of enjoying life. She is a Kinesiologist but also has a background in dance, teaching, personal training, group training, and acute sports medicine. She thrives when she sees people regain their mobility and activity level, allowing them to maximize their potential! When Leanne isn’t working, she is enjoying the outdoors with her family.

Chris Park
Clinician

Chris graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2023, where he developed a passion for health, fitness, and rehabilitation. Having dealt with knee issues himself, Chris understands the debilitating effects that pain during mobility can cause. He is dedicated to working with his patients to develop solutions that are both evidence-based and aligned with their individual preferences. Chris is driven to provide patient-centred care with the ultimate goal of helping his patients return to an active lifestyle. In his spare time, Chris enjoys staying physically active by playing hockey, soccer, and golf, as well as going on scenic hikes with family and friends.

Rickie Ma
Clinician

Rickie holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. With a decade of experience in injury prevention research and kinesiology, he brings a strong understanding of human movement and recovery to the field of orthopedic bracing. Whether working with athletes, post-operative individuals, or those managing chronic or acute conditions, he is driven to help each person return to the activities they enjoy. Outside of the clinic, Rickie keeps active through racquet sports, hockey, and exploring local trails, which helps him appreciate the value of staying mobile and healthy in a pain-free manner.

Liam Kenny
Clinician

Liam is a Canadian Certified Pedorthist and holds a BscKin from the University of New Brunswick. With over five years of experience in bracing and foot health solutions, he has worked with a wide range of injuries and conditions. Liam is passionate about helping patients achieve their best possible outcomes and enjoys exploring innovative treatment options tailored to each individual’s needs.

Outside of work, Liam enjoys staying active - whether he’s in the gym or out on the mountain during ski season.

Client Service Coordinator

With a background in IT and customer service, Adrian strives to offer a comfortable and convenient experience for every Össur patient. With an increasing interest in bracing and orthopaedics, he is looking forward to expanding his knowledge in this field. Outside of work, Adrian likes to go for a bike ride or play badminton.

Amanda Sheffield
Clinic Administrator

Amanda graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2019 with a Bachelors of Kinesiology, and worked as Kinesiologist for 4 years. Now she is enjoying her new role as Clinic Administrator at Össur, and expanding her knowledge in orthopedics and bracing. In her free time, Amanda loves spending time with her friends and family, being outdoors, and relaxing with a good book.
