Tim Phillips

Tim is a Certified Pedorthist and brings over 15 years of experience to the Orthotics field. He graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2001. His passion for Orthotics and Bracing began with a practicum placement and has evolved into a very rewarding career in which he has received invaluable training along the way. He enjoys solving challenges with ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking as there is rarely a textbook solution.

Outside of work he enjoys being active, which usually means chasing after his young family. He recently survived his first Triathlon and is excited about training and completing more.

Jeremy Williams
Jeremy Williams
BHK, C. Ped (C), Senior Clinician

Jeremy is an established and highly skilled member of the Össur Team with over 15 years of experience in Orthotics, Pedorthics, and lower limb bracing. Originally from Ontario, Jeremy graduated from the University of Windsor with a bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics in 2002. He then completed his Diploma as an Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician in 2004 and starting his career with Össur. As a Canadian Certified Pedorthist, Jeremy has been helping clients with their lower limb health since 2007.

Over the years, Jeremy’s clinical, technical, and managerial experience have provided him with a client-focused, multi-disciplinary approach to managing customer needs. He understands that no single approach is always the correct one for every individual. Jeremy uses an approach that combines biomechanics, rehabilitation, and lifestyle into his bracing treatment options.

In his free time, Jeremy enjoys hiking, photography, martial arts training, and taking care of his plants!

Emma started her career in orthopaedics as an injury management consultant at a clinic in Ontario. Emma’s passion for physical activity and the outdoors brought her to Vancouver in August 2018. Her clinical experience and desire to help people stay active led her to Ӧssur. In her spare time, you can find Emma in the pool doing synchronized swimming, outside hiking, running or exploring new places.

Leanne has always been passionate about health and fitness; she believes that staying mobile and active is an integral part of enjoying life. She is a Kinesiologist but also has a background in dance, teaching, personal training, group training, and acute sports medicine. She thrives when she sees people regain their mobility and activity level, allowing them to maximize their potential! When Leanne isn’t working, she is enjoying the outdoors with her family.

Sammy's interest in orthopedics and bracing grew from her passion in helping people overcome physical challenges as well as reach their goals in active living. Sammy joined the Össur team shortly after graduating from UBC with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2022 and has been gaining valuable clinical experience since then. Outside the clinic, you can find Sammy exploring the woods of BC, relaxing at the beach, or skateboarding with friends.

Rhea graduated with her Bachelors of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia in 2022. She has always had a passion for wellness, activity, and helping others achieve their goals. Through her time at Össur, she has learnt so much more about the rehabilitation sector of health and medicine and is excited to continue learning so that she can help improve the quality of life of many more people. When she’s not in clinic, you can find Rhea hiking up a mountain, biking around the city, or at karaoke with friends.

Mikayla grew up wishing to help those around her and with years of volunteer experience and a background in home medical supplies, she is happy to be a part of such an important community. With a thirst for knowledge, she can’t wait to learn more about Orthopaedics and is excited for her future at Össur. When she is not at work, you can find Mikayla reading novels outside or building legos with her son.

Chanel is a multifaceted individual with interests in the health sector, as well as a background in psychology. When she is not in clinic, you can find Chanel out for a run, doing a puzzle, or planning her next backpacking adventure.

Rhonda joined Össur to exercise her customer service skills, combined with her long-serving experience in the medical field, in a more public manner. Rhonda has a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and furthered her education to include medical transcription. She has an abundance of questions and is always willing to seek out answers. In her spare time, Rhonda can be found curled up with a book and some tea or enjoying the scenery during nature walks.
