Mobility Clinic on the Waves 2023

Our recent Mobility Clinic on the Waves event in Newcastle at Nobby's Beach was a wonderful sunny day. 

Össur Ambassador and Para Surfing Champion Jade 'Red' Wheatley truly led the charge at the event, fearlessly taking the waves head-on and sharing his surfing expertise to all attendees. His passion and dedication were evident throughout, making it an inspiring experience for everyone involved.

Our Physio Coach, Craig Evans played a crucial role, leading the attendees through a series of beach drills, exercises, and even organising a friendly yet competitive game of beach soccer. The combination of learning and fun was a highlight of the day.

We were thrilled to have over 12 enthusiastic attendees at the clinic, all of whom travelled to Newcastle to join us and face the waves. Their determination and the support of Dan from Newcastle Surf School, who volunteered his time, were instrumental in making this event a success.

This marked our 8th Mobility Clinic on the Waves, and the positive energy and enthusiasm from both the participants and our dedicated team were truly remarkable.
