Micah Nicholls

Director of Global Academy, Bracing

Micah has been with Össur since 2009 and now leads the Medical Office and Global Academy for Bracing and Supports. He holds a Bachelor’s in Osteopathy (UK) a Master’s in Engineering from Manchester University and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Iceland (2023). He has been based in California for the past decade.

Ben Frost

Össur Academy Manager, Bracing

Ben is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with 14 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics, specializing in sports injury rehab, postoperative care, and degenerative conditions. He is passionate about advancing bracing and supports to improve healing outcomes and prevention, and is eager to apply his evidence-based care experience in this space.

Danielle Man

Education Program Manager

Danielle holds a biology degree with high honors from Boston University and completed PhD research in sociobiology at Northeastern University. With over a decade in science education and instructional design, she specializes in digital learning and supports Bracing Academy content, including voiceover work. An outdoor enthusiast and certified holistic health coach, she brings a learner-focused, strategic approach to training design.

Anna Long

Clinical Specialist, Bracing

Anna Long is a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) with 7+ years of clinical experience and degrees in Bioengineering and Orthotics & Prosthetics. She has held leadership and education roles at Active Life and Ottobock, and also lectures part-time at CSULB. Passionate about teaching and innovation, she focuses on improving patient outcomes through both clinical practice and education.

Sam Schwartz

Creative Services Manager

Sam has spent the last 15 years focused on impactful, patient-first storytelling. A graduate of the University of Southern California (USC), his experience in the professional documentary space, primarily sports, led him to find passion in providing education to those recovering from injury. Beyond education, he is heavily involved in Össur’s Responsible for Tomorrow initiative, spearheading an internal documentary series on sustainability in healthcare. He has been with Össur since 2022.
