PIPDriver™ | 2ND GENERATION

The product that started it all.

The PIPDriver is a body-controlled prosthesis designed for a finger amputation or limb difference on the distal or proximal phalanx of the second through fifth fingers.

The design of this prosthesis is anatomically adapted to the PIP and DIP joints for intuitive, natural movements.

IDEAL ANATOMICAL CONDITIONS FOR A GOOD FIT:

This custom-made prosthesis is controlled by an intact PIP joint with a sufficient residual finger length to attach the socket of the finger prosthesis. Users with a finger amputation or limb difference who cannot be fitted with the standard version of the PIPDriver can still benefit from the prosthesis as Naked Prosthetic engineers can adapt the design to the individual needs of users. FEATURES FOR ADDED COMFORT:

  • Made of robust, durable medical grade nylon 12
  • Improved functionality for carrying out daily activities
  • Easy to clean, easy to care for, easy to put on and take off
  • Lightweight yet exceptionally strong
  • Waterproof and chemical-proof
  • Cage-like structure protects the residual finger
  • Slim, smooth design allows the prosthesis to be worn on two or more adjacent fingers
  • Conductive tip option for touchscreen operation

MCPDriver™

A robust, individual, functional solution.

The MCPDriver is a body-controlled prosthesis designed for a finger amputation or limb difference on the proximal phalanx of the second through fifth fingers.

An MCPDriver restores the original finger length and thereby helps restore natural gripping patterns. The MCPDriver reliably restores gripping precision and force (e.g. pinch grip, typing, and cylindrical gripping) as well as grip strength.

Thanks to the durable stainless-steel frame and robust components, users can resume a highly demanding and active lifestyle.

IDEAL ANATOMICAL CONDITIONS FOR A GOOD FIT:

This prosthesis is controlled by an intact MCP joint and supported by the residual finger, which must be of sufficient length to operate the ring of the prosthesis.

FEATURES FOR ADDED COMFORT:

  • A silicone pad cushions the back plate for improved comfort
  • Interchangeable silicone adjustment inserts can be used to vary the volume
  • Adjusting discs can be used to obtain the best possible fit
  • Natural abduction and adduction allow the user to use the prosthesis intuitively. The acclimatisation time after the initial fitting of the prosthesis can be considerably reduced as a result
  • Conductive tip option for touch screen operation

ThumbDriver™

Restores counter-support and strength.

The ThumbDriver is a body-controlled prosthesis designed for amputation or limb difference on the proximal phalanx of the thumb.

A ThumbDriver can restore two and three-point grips, enables secure gripping patterns with medium to large diameters, and improves fine motor functions and skills.

FOR A GOOD FIT:

This prosthesis is controlled by an intact MCP joint and follows the motions of the CMC joint. It is supported by the residual finger, which must be of sufficient length to operate the ring of the prosthesis. Users with a finger amputation or limb difference who cannot be fitted with the standard version of the ThumbDriver can still benefit from the prosthesis as Naked Prosthetic engineers can adapt the design to the individual needs of your users. Talk to our experts about individual solutions.

UNIQUE CAPABILITIES + FUNCTIONS:

This design features an adjustable pre-flex option, allowing users to adapt the prosthesis according to the requirements of the task to be performed. Functional gripping patterns can be attained more easily as a result.

GripLock Finger™

The Naked Prosthetics solution for a finger amputation or limb difference close to the MCP joint.

The GripLock Finger is a passive, positionable prosthetic finger designed for the second through fifth fingers. It is intended for use in conjunction with a custom-made socket adapted by a certified prosthetist.

The user can flex the finger to various degrees with the other hand or on a hard surface. Subsequently, the GripLock Finger can be released and fully extended by pressing the latch (lever arm) on the back or flexing the finger beyond the last locking position.

A GripLock Finger can restore the original length, support the use of both hands, prevent a misalignment of the metacarpal bone, and provide a valuable tool to master daily living activities.

GripLock Fingers can be combined with our MCPDriver, PIPDriver, and/or ThumbDriver. They are offered in the same colour and design options.

  • Cover can be maintained on site
  • Silicone tip padding
  • Finished aluminium
  • Case-hardened stainless steel

This design has been optimised for carrying heavy loads.

The GripLock Finger weighs 25 grams which is unrivaled in the industry, and features a breaking strength of 90.7 kg.
