Direct Socket System Certification | TF Group 3

Direct Socket TF is a socket solution for transfemoral amputees of all activity levels.  Successful implementation of this single-visit socket system empowers attendees to manufacture a repeatable, more consistent, total contact socket. This outcome-driven prosthetic system can serve as an effective patient care model within your practice as well as remote facilities.   

During this course attendees will:   

• Measure and select the correct casting and definitive Liner   
• Identify optimal position for fabrication of Direct Socket   
• Prepare, inject, and saturate braid/fabricate socket   
• Finish socket to include appropriate trim lines, suspension and alignment components  

Post completion, participants will also have a better understanding of various liner sizing and selection, TF alignment and related troubleshooting techniques.
