Research confirms that low active amputees often struggle to maintain a comfortable balance on their prosthesis. They worry that their knee will buckle, or that they will “catch a toe” and fall. Many also wrestle with suspension issues that further erode their confidence. Additionally, low active amputees often suffer the effects of vascular disease and may benefit from elevated vacuum technology. However, traditional vacuum systems that rely on a sleeve are not well suited for this patient population.

Liners contribute to proper suspension and are the foundation of a comfortable and effective prosthetic. Even the most technologically advanced prosthesis needs the right liner solution to ensure proper fit, function and comfort.
Developed for trans-tibial locking liner users of all activity levels, Iceross Seal-In X Locking provides improved function by combining the benefits of locking suspension with the benefits of vacuum suspension.
Users of locking suspension systems who have placed their trust in the mechanical connection with its perceivable feedback can now also benefit from the reduced pistoning (1) and improved rotational control (2) offered by vacuum suspension.

Elevated Vacuum System Supporting a Proper Fit
Unity is a first-of-its-kind sleeveless vacuum system that pulls the vacuum in the socket using the energy created by the natural motion of the prosthetic foot. Designed to accommodate all prosthetic users, the benefits of this are a lighter, quieter, simpler vacuum suspension than any other vacuum technology on the market.
The success of the prosthesis is dependent upon the fit between the residual limb and socket: suspension is crucial.
