Evaluation and Treatment of the Above the Knee Amputee Population - 3.75 CEUs

Learning objectives:

1)  How to use outcome measures to evaluate and define treatment plans and justify advanced technology for prosthetic users. 

2)  Training techniques for rehab of amputees using mechanical and RK3 microprocessor knees.

3)  How to maximize the functional advantage of the RK3 Microprocessor technology in prosthetic rehabilitation.

4)  The attendee will be able to identify 3 common gait anomalies common to the individual with lower extremity limb loss.

5)  The attendee will be able to properly determine at least two causes of a poorly fitting socket on an individual with lower extremity limb loss.
