COVID-19 Global Pandemic

The global COVID-19 pandemic is creating a challenging and unprecedented time for all of us. Our priority at Össur is to preserve the health and well-being of our employees, end-users, customers and communities which we are a part of around the world.

Since the beginning of the outbreak, we have mobilized business continuity teams in all our locations and implemented changes and precautionary measures aimed at preventing the spread of the virus, while continuing to serve the valued customers and end-users who depend on us. As we adapt our working methods, it goes without saying that we are following all local government issued guidance and regulations.

Our customer service teams operate out of multiple geographic locations and are capable of working remotely. We also operate multiple distribution centers with good levels of inventory on hand. Additionally, we are fully prepared to provide sales and clinical assistance by telephone and video conference.

The clinical services provided by O&P professionals around the world remains an important part of the healthcare infrastructure and we remain committed to serving our customers and end-users in the best way possible.

While we don’t know how long this situation will continue, and the ultimate effects it may have, we are confident that working together as partners and stakeholders in our industry will make all of us stronger and more capable of weathering any difficulties ahead.
