Rod Cooper
Managing Director, Össur ANZ
Rod graduated from LaTrobe Unveristy with a Bachelor of Prosthetics (Hons) and has diverse industry experience in clinical provision, education and business development. Rod joined Össur in 2006 (a small independent distributor at the time) leading the growth of our bracing wholesale division. More recently, Rod has graduated from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and became the Össur ANZ Regional Director in 2019. Rod is inspired to work for a company that values innovation and making a difference to the lives of those that receive our products and services.
Meredith Booth
Sales Director, Bracing & Supports
Meredith has over 30+ years of experience working in and servicing the Orthotics industry. Graduating from Lincoln Institute, she worked clinically for 12 years as an Orthotist before moving into Sales. Meredith joined Össur in 2007 (a small independant distributor at the time) and now leads the Braces & Supports business unit. Meredith is inspired to work with such a great team of people and for a company that stands true to their core values: honesty, frugality and courage, in their quest to provide innovative, industry leading products and solutions to make a difference to those in need.
Tim Amor
Business Development Manager, Neuro Orthotics
After graduating university with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters in Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2013, Tim gained experience working clinically as an Orthotist in a private facility seeing a range of acute and chronic conditions before transitioning to Össur in 2016. One of the greatest rewards of his job is being able to fit a patient who is in pain or suffering gross instability and seeing an instant increase in their quality of life.
Jake Fiene
Technical Trainer, Neuro Orthotics
Originally from Orange, NSW, Jake moved to Canberra in 2018 to pursue a Bachelor of Visual Arts at the Australian National University, where he developed a passion for portraiture. His work gained recognition when a portrait of Gold Logie winner Jeanne Little was featured in New Idea magazine.
Jake brings a unique blend of artistic creativity and technical expertise to the P&O field. He has extensive experience in fabricating prosthetic and orthotic devices using pre-preg and wet lamination techniques and enjoys creating custom airbrushed designs tailored to individual clients. He has also collaborated with his sister, Ashleigh, in developing innovative carbon fibre devices integrated with HTV silicone.
Currently, Jake works as a Technical Trainer with Össur, specialising in FIOR & GENTZ component support and advanced lamination training. His passion lies in combining form and function to create devices that are not only effective but also durable and visually expressive.
Sofia Evangelista
Customer Care Specialist, Neuro Orthotics
Since joining Össur in 2020 as a Customer Care Representative, Sofia has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and expertise, advancing to the role of Customer Care Specialist. In this capacity, she adeptly manages all customer needs for FIOR & GENTZ across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring seamless service delivery and satisfaction.
Passionate about her role, Sofia is committed to enhancing people's lives and mobility through thoughtful and effective customer care. Her proactive approach and problem-solving skills contribute significantly to the company's mission of providing outstanding service. Sofia is also a collaborative team player, often supporting process improvements and sharing her knowledge to enhance the entire Customer Care team.
