Össur Solutions – The Fundamentals

Össur is excited to launch our new Össur Academy Courses, based in our Academy Facility in Melbourne.

This fundamental educational course is aimed at Prosthetist wanting to gain a high-level understanding of the full Össur range of solutions and gain insight into the in-depth course offerings in 2025.

This course will introduce Össur’s Post Operative solutions, and focus on the Iceross Liner range, with participants having the option to fit each liner to a patient model. Participants will learn about prescription considerations, assessment and measuring for appropriate liners.

The course will also focus on socket technologies - including Direct Socket and Connect TF. A practical demonstration of hand casting for a TT socket will be provided, and participants will have the opportunity to practice hand casting.

Participants will fit and align select Pro-Flex family feet, and cover prescription and category selection.

A brief overview of Össur’s Mechanical Knee range and innovative Bionic range will also be covered.

Participants will gain an understanding of the clinical solutions Össur has to offer and are welcome to register for further Academy courses based on interest and need.

This course can be tailored to suit the needs of the participants, and can also run over two days if required.
