We’re adding black and dark mélange textile variants to selected Össur liners and sleeves, offering users more choice while keeping the same trusted performance.

For Iceross Dermo Cushion (with wave), Iceross Synergy Cushion (with wave), and the Iceross Sleeve, the darker look reflects a growing preference for a clean, modern prosthetic appearance and is less visually sensitive to dirt, wear, and discoloration. 

There is no change to fit, materials, or clinical performance, and current colour variants remain available alongside the new options.

With Navii Descent 2.0, Össur has taken the next step in that evolution.

Based on clinical feedback and real-world use, we’ve identified opportunities to better support more dynamic users who are looking for a smoother, more continuous feel when navigating ramps and varied terrain.

Navii Descent 2.0 introduces adjustable progressive resistance, expanding how descent support is delivered through stance - now allowing a more gradual progression of resistance for smoother, more continuous motion throughout stance.

This added flexibility makes it easier to provide existing users with new functionality tailored to their mobility, activity level, and preferences, giving you greater control over your clinical decisions.

Importantly, this enhancement is delivered through a simple in-clinic firmware update, with no hardware changes required, making it easy to unlock new functionality for existing Navii users. This firmware update is now available in the Össur Logic app for new users, and the Bionic Connect desktop application for existing users.

You can now submit digital scans for Mechanical Upper Limb orders, which eliminates the need to create and ship plaster molds. This new option reduces turnaround time, lowers costs, and helps avoid delays or rejections once materials arrive for review.

No new equipment is required
You may continue using your existing scanner, as long as it produces files in one of the following formats: PLY, STL, OBJ, 3MF, or AMF. If you prefer to continue using plaster molds, that option remains fully supported.

Education and support

To support this update, our teams are trained to review and validate scans for quality and accuracy. The goal is to confirm scan acceptance immediately, while the patient is still in the clinic. This helps you to move forward with confidence.

To help you succeed with digital scanning, we’ve introduced targeted training and guidance, including the MCPDriver and ThumbDriver: Scanning Intake course, along with clear scanning instructions and updated intake guidance.

From the introduction of the first silicone Iceross liner by Össur Kristinsson in 1971 to AeroFit today, we have continuously advanced what prosthetic liners can achieve.

AeroFit is designed to leverage the user’s movement to actively expel air from the socket, promoting airflow and reducing humidity inside the liner. Clinical studies have shown that AeroFit can improve perceived skin health and quality of life without compromising the trusted benefits of Seal-In suspension technology.

To help our end users understand how to properly don/doff their Unloader One X brace, we are adding a QR code to the brace that will direct the end user to a self-fitting video. The QR code will be placed on the inside of the lower hinge arm of the Unloader One X.

The Ossur One Sleeve, now available in black,  is a seamless sleeve made out of soft and breathable TencelTM material and designed to fit various leg shapes. It is especially beneficial for end users with bigger thighs and loose tissues and for those end users with sensitive skin.

Össur’s Torsion Shock Adapter has received an upgraded environmental rating, moving from Weatherproof to Waterproof. Products with a Waterproof rating can be used in wet or humid environments and can be submerged in water up to 3 meters deep for a maximum of 1 hour.

Please note that there have been no changes to the product design itself. The upgrade is the result of an update to the technical documentation following the successful completion of all testing required to achieve a Waterproof rating.

We have updated Formfit Walker family, which includes both the Standard and Air variants.

To facilitate the ease of ordering all replacement softgoods for the Unloader One SmartDosing under 1 part number, we have created the Unloader One SmartDosing Service Kit, which contains the following items:  Jersey Knit thigh liner, Sensil calf liner, DFS straps(2), thigh strap, calf strap, alligator tabs(4), popliteal pad and hinge pad.

The upgrade of the DH Offloading Walker, modernising the device to align with the updated Formfit Walker while maintaining its clinical purpose as an offloading solution.

Updates include:

• Lightweight design with minimal heel height helping avoid unnecessary shoe modifications
• Rocker bottom designed by an orthopaedic shoemaker
• Reduced environmental impact by design

We have updated the CTi3 straps and liners to address insufficient strap length and improve durability and usability of the lower liner and strap assembly.

The Össur FSW Foot Cover is a user-removable and fully waterproof solution designed to improve hygiene, function, and appearance of prosthetic feet.

Originally launched with Pro-Flex Terra and Pro-Flex LP Junior, the FSW Foot Cover is now also available for:

• Pro-Flex LP

• Pro-Flex ST

• Pro-Flex Modular

• Pro-Flex XC

These feet are still supplied with the standard FST Foot Cover. The FSW Foot Cover can be ordered separately as an accessory.

To simplify the product offering, Össur is introducing new Standard packages for the following knee units:

• Balance Knee OFM1

• Paso Knee

• OP5 Knee

• OHP3 Knee

The new Standard versions are supplied without adapters, allowing clinicians to select the most appropriate adapter separately.

The current adapter-inclusive packages will be discontinued by mid-2026 to support a smooth transition and inventory planning.

The Össur 4-hole Socket Adapter Junior is now fully waterproof, improving durability and suitability for more demanding conditions.

In addition, the maximum weight limit has increased from 45 kg to 60 kg.

Based on market feedback, Össur is introducing new replacement kits and a Quick Connect Retrieval Tool for the Icelock 850.

The Retrieval Tool allows easy removal of the Quick Connect from the socket and is now included in every Icelock 850 Hybrid Lock Kit. It is also available for separate ordering.

A new Replacement Latch Housing Kit is also available to support use across multiple check sockets.
