Össur SmartMeasure Privacy Notice
Introduction
Ӧssur’s SmartMeasure 3D mobile app provides you, the clinician, with the ability during a patient fitting to capture a patient’s measurements and for you to enter the data necessary for ordering orthotic devices such as custom knee braces.
The app does not require you to provide patient names to create an order. We ask that you use a different patient identifier of your choosing.
We understand that you are aware of and care about your own personal privacy interests as well as those of your patients, and we take that seriously. This Privacy Notice describes the collection and use of data related to the SmartMeasure3D mobile app and solely applies to the processing of the data collected or entered by you within this app.
We will update this Privacy Notice from time to time as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies. The Privacy Notice was last updated on June 13, 2025.

All depth data is processed locally on your device and is not retained unless you save the scan. It is not transmitted to the server unless you explicitly choose to export the 3D mesh.
