Pro-Flex® Course - 4 CEUs

The Pro-Flex with Pivot Technology is a brand new carbon fiber foot design. This certification course will introduce the field of prosthetics to this new technology. This will include a brief introduction, an explanation of how this technology can mitigate future co-morbidities, and how the technology improves gait symmetry. Lastly, the course will review clinical data that supports the foot's function with evidence.

Learning Outcomes: By the end of the course, the attendee Will be able to: Explain the anatomy of the Pro-Flex Foot with Pivot Technology, Explain the forces around the anatomical knee that cause osteoarthritis, Understand how the Pro-Flex Foot stores energy during stance phase, demonstrate proper alignment and fitting of the Pro-Flex Foot.
