ÖWLI Webinar Series: Health Care Accessibility for Individuals with Physical Disability

July 17, 2020 | Online Webinar

Join us Friday July 17 for the next in our ÖWLI Educational Webinar Series:  "Health Care Accessibility for Individuals with Physical Disability: Environmental and Personal Factors Impacting Care" presented by Abbey Senczyszyn, MBA, MPO.

Abbey brings her presentation originally scheduled for the Ossur Women's Leadership Conference to webinar. Have you ever had a patient show up late for an appointment? Or perhaps patients that routinely show up late, or not all, that you refer to as a “chronic no-show?” While this can be frustrating to us as providers, chances are, there are other factors at play that prevent your patient from making their appointments. This discussion will summarize results from a semi-structured literature review on environmental and personal factors at play that can make it difficult for patients to attend their appointments. Potential solutions that have been implemented at other practices across the U.S. will be proposed and discussed.
