Whether we are comfortable with it or not, Artificial intelligence (A.I) is making its way into healthcare and will affect the O&P landscape. In addition, the products that we work with are becoming increasingly technological. Now and in the future, trends in technology and patient-driven healthcare will affect almost all aspects of our market, from access, to billing, to information and data collection, to patient expectations of their providers.

Governing bodies like the FDA are already placing resources to successfully navigate this trend. For all of us in O&P – are we ready?
