Össur Connect TF Update
Connect TF is an adjustable socket indicated for low active amputees. The open socket donning feature designed into the on/off tensioning handle, helps ease of donning and doffing while the user is in sitting position. Connect TF can be custom fitted by a certified prosthetist and adjusted throughout the socket lifetime in height, angle and circumference. The new updates for Connect TF will be covered, as well as complimentary Mechanical Knee and Foot systems for appropriate prescription considerations.

Sarah graduated from the University of Salford (UK) with a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Initially Sarah worked as a Prosthetist at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton between 2008-2012, gaining experience in a specialised rehabilitation setting, working with all levels of amputees, including the paediatric clinic which saw referrals from within the UK and globally. In 2016 Sarah moved to Sydney and joined Össur as Clinical specialist in Prosthetics, providing clinical education programs in Australia and New Zealand.

Össur Waterproof Component Update
In this webinar, Laura Roberts presents an overview of Össur’s newly tested salt waterproof component range including adapters, locks, valves, and foot. She will also discuss Össur’s existing fresh waterproof adapters, lock, and feet.

Laura graduated from La Trobe University Melbourne in 2004 with a Bachelor in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Laura worked as a certified Prosthetist Orthotist in the public sector (VIC) and in the private sector (WA, QLD), prior to joining Össur Australia in April 2021 as a Clinical Specialist supporting clinicians and providing clinical education programmes.

Introducing Direct Socket

Changes have been made to the previous Modular Socket System (MSS) to improve safety and ease of use, and has now been renamed Direct Socket.
