Össur’s world-renowned Cheetah® prosthetic blades are featured in “Artful Innovation: Inclusive Design and Technology,” an exhibition at the esteemed John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. The exhibit, which showcases Cheetahs worn by Team Össur athletes April Holmes and Jerome Singleton, notes that Össur’s Cheetah prosthesis exemplifies streamlined design that produces power and agility and has been the uncontested “gold standard” for elite and recreational amputee athletes for 20 years.
More than 3 million people visit the Kennedy Center each year. The “Artful Innovation” exhibit, which runs through August 20, is co-sponsored by the Institute for Human Centered Design, the JFK Centennial and VSA, a global nonprofit that focuses on art and other abilities.
