The clinically proven Unloader One osteoarthritis knee brace offers comfort & suspension without sacrificing the functionality of the clinically proven Össur Unloader design.

Now the Unloader One OA knee brace is even simpler to fit and easier to wear!  A new design incorporates color-coded buckles , more intuitive strapping, and denser Sensil® lining for increased patient comfort. See what has been improved.

New! Plus model for larger patients features a wider thigh strap, a gastroc strap and a sturdier frame and upright.

Indications for Use

  • Mild to severe unicompartmental osteoarthritis (OA) 
  • Unicompartmental knee conditions requiring load reduction, such as Articular Cartilage Defect Repair, Meniscal Cartilage Repair, Avascular Necrosis, or Tibial Plateau Fracture.
  • Thigh circumferences of 13.5" (34.3cm) to 33" (83.8cm) and calf circumferences of 9.8" (24.9cm) to 24" (61.5cm) 
  • All non contact activities

That's why our new Unloader One Plus model is equipped with a wider thigh strap1 than the standard version, plus a gastroc strap that helps secure the brace in place.

So, for the new Unloader One Plus model, we included a sturdier upright with an Adjustable Dynamic Joint that provides clinicians with additional leverage for optimal pain management. This osteoarthritis knee brace combines a streamlined, flexible upright with Dual Dynamic Force Straps to generate more unloading leverage than any Unloader to date.

By incorporating light weight shells, with Sensil® silicone liner technology, the Unloader One knee brace provides a stable and comfortable platform for the dual dynamic force strap system. Quick fit buckles and breathable liners help ensure better patient compliance. The patient can measure and adjust the amount of unloading needed using the unique ratcheting Dynamic Force Control system.
