Marlon Shirley was the first T44 class athlete to break the 11-second barrier in the 100 meters (10.97). Still heavily involved in sports, Marlon is dedicated to sharing his experiences with fellow amputee athletes.
3-time ITU Triathlon World Championship silver medalist, UCLA student and Spokesperson for the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
Peggy became a below knee amputee in 2003 following an injury which was sustained in 1997. After twenty surgeries attempting to save the limb, she made the difficult decision to amputate. She considers this to be the most difficult decision of her life but continues to believe it was the best option available for her to resume her active lifestyle.
