About Blake Leeper

Blake Leeper was born with a birth defect and has been using prosthetics since the age of 9 months. An avid sportsman, Blake grew up playing basketball and baseball, and played varsity basketball for his high school team.

Having only recently started training for track and field events, Blake ran his first race in June of 2009 with an impressive time of 11.96 in the 100 meters - qualifying him for the U.S Paralympic team. In August of 2009, he ran at his first international meet in Rio De Janerio, Brazil were he ran a 23.59 in the 200m and a 11.76 in the 100m.
