Last Thursday Ossur received the 2007 Nordic IR Awards for best IR by an Icelandic Company and Best IR support by CEO/CFO by an Icelandic Company.
This is the fourth time Ossur receives the Awards for Best IR, but the Company has been nominated the past six years. Ossur's CEO, Jon Sigurdsson and CFO Hjorleifur Palsson won the Award for Best IR support for the first time.

Hilmar Janusson, Ossur’s Vice President of Research and Development, was the special guest lecturer at the recent meeting of JAPO in Nagoya (Japanese Academy of Prosthetists and Orthotists). Introducing the Ossur's technology platform ‘ Bionic Technology by Ossur’, Hilmar presented the continuing developments of the platform with Ossur's view of the future.

Students of California State University Dominguez Hills' O&P program were treated to two fascinating lectures last month courtesy of the Ossur Academy. Charles W Radcliffe, Professor (Emeritus), addressed a full house, lecturing on the biomechanics of transfemoral fitting and of knee stability control.
