Icelock® 500 Series
Lightweight easy to clean expulsion valves.
Both Icelock Expulsion Valve 551 and 552, are designed to be used with all vacuum suspension systems. The valves are positioned in a housing that seals securely against the inner surface of the hard socket near the distal end. The valves expulse air under positive pressure when, entering a socket. During removal of the prosthesis the valve needs to be triggered to allow air back into the hard socket.
Icelock Expulsion Valve 551
The Icelock Expulsion Valve 551 now has a screw-on cap and added socket insert make the valve easier to use. The screw-on cap is easy to remove, making cleaning of the valve a simple task. The valve now also comes with a socket insert which makes it easy to use with flexible inner sockets. Please note a new order number: L-551002
